Motive Health was opened in 2020 by Dr. Tyler Mitcheltree in a small 300 square foot office space in North York. One office quickly turned to three offices as Motive Health’s name and reputation for pain management and recovery quickly spread around Southern PA.

Motive is not your typical doctors office. While playing sports at the collegiate level, Dr. Tyler Mitcheltree dealt with numerous injuries which were managed with a prescription of “take some ibuprofen and rest it.” At Motive Health we pride ourselves in one on one patient care. No cookie cutter treatment plans, no “rest it until it gets better” diagnosis. Our “movement is medicine” philosophy means we do whatever it takes to keep you moving, out pain, and doing what you love.
